Softball Recap: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Picks Up 17th Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Nansemond-Suffolk Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles 18-0. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Fredericksburg Christian, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6.

As of now, neither Nansemond-Suffolk Academy nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
