Basketball Recap: Life Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Life Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Klahowya Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Life Christian Academy of the 49-47 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Bailey O'Brien had an outrageously good game for Klahowya as she posted 31 points along with five assists and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which O'Brien has scored at least a third of Klahowya's points. Another player making a difference was Shyanne Kilmer, who put up eight points in addition to 13 boards and five steals.

Life Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Klahowya, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12.

Life Christian Academy will take on Seattle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Klahowya has already played their next match, a 68-15 victory against Charles Wright on the 29th.
