Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Cornerstone Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since August 28th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Cornerstone Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Cornerstone Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Tri-Cities Christian, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Christian Academy will welcome Mountain Mission at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against KACHEA at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
