Volleyball Recap: Meadow Heights Beats Marquand-Zion for Their Fourth Straight Win

Meadow Heights won the last time they faced Marquand-Zion and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers blew past the Tigers 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matches in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Meadow Heights took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-1, 25-12, 25-6.

Kenna Thele paced Meadow Heights' offense, picking up ten kills. Thele got some help from Maci Long and her 19 assists. Rylann Yamnitz controlled things from the service line, finishing with 13 aces.

Meadow Heights' win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Marquand-Zion, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadow Heights will challenge St. Vincent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marquand-Zion, they will face off against Leopold at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
