Football Game Preview: Nixa Eagles vs. Joplin Eagles

Two dominant backs in Jayden McCaster and Traevian McCadney are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Nixa will square off against Joplin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nixa will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Nixa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-6 win over Ozark. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Nixa's victory came down to the chemistry between Adam McKnight and his top target Randy Flint. McKnight rushed for 79 yards and one TD while Flint gained 52 total yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards McKnight has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Joplin got the win against Kickapoo on Friday by a conclusive 28-6. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won seven in a row.

A big part of Joplin's victory came down to the chemistry between Daniel Rose and his top target Trenton McCadney. Rose rushed for 35 yards and a pair of scores while McCadney gained 117 total yards and a touchdown.

Nixa's record is now 10-0. As for Joplin, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
