Soccer Recap: Copper Canyon Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Copper Canyon was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against the Willow Canyon Wildcats, falling 4-0. The Aztecs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Copper Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Willow Canyon, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copper Canyon will face off against Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willow Canyon, they will take on Notre Dame Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Willow Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
