Volleyball Recap: Patrick Henry's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Patrick Henry entered their tilt with University City on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Centurions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Patrick Henry took University City into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 24-26, 16-25, 15-10.

Among those leading the charge was Ashlynn Kirchoff, who had 19 digs and two aces. Those 19 digs gave her a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Patrick Henry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, University City still got an impressive performance from Riley Conklin, who had 26 assists and six digs.

Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for University City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.
