Soccer Game Preview: Thatcher vs. Benjamin Franklin

Thatcher's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sabino as they made off with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Thatcher, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin made easy work of Apache Junction on Monday and carried off a 9-0 victory. Give Benjamin Franklin's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Benjamin Franklin's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Thatcher, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.

Thatcher might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Benjamin Franklin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
