Center is a perfect 10-0 against Tatum since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Center Roughriders will welcome the Tatum Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Center will be strutting in after a victory while Tatum will be coming in after a loss.

Center is returning to their home pitch after beating Pine Tree on theirs, despite the fact Pine Tree has dominated at home this season. Center skirted past Pine Tree 3-2. The win was all the more spectacular given the Roughriders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 396th in Texas, while the Pirates are ranked 93rd in Texas).

Meanwhile, Tatum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against Sabine, falling 8-1. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Logan Guinn, which was the first he's scored this season.

Center pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Tatum, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything went Center's way against Tatum when the teams last played on February 3rd, as Center made off with a 3-0 win. Will Center repeat their success, or does Tatum have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
