Trinity Christian has gone 8-2 against Gatewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trinity Christian Crusaders will face off against the Gatewood Gators at 6:00 p.m.

Trinity Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Central Fellowship Christian Academy on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Trinity Christian lost 69-48 to Central Fellowship Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Lancers are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Gatewood made easy work of Windsor Academy on Monday and carried off a 57-36 win. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

Gatewood's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Trinity Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

Trinity Christian took their win against Gatewood in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 50-26. Does Trinity Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gatewood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
