Volleyball Recap: Stover Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Stover came out on top against Grandview by a score of 2-0.

Rory Pinzke paced Stover's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pinzke got some help from Kennedy Worthley and her 20 assists. Pinzke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Stover's win bumped their record up to 10-5-3. As for Grandview, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Stover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Drexel on the 27th. As for Grandview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Smithville on the 30th.
