Riverfield Academy won the last time they faced Clinton Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Drake Parker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Parker was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, John Cade Zeigler was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Brett Herrington was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Riverfield Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Riverfield Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Clinton Christian Academy, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Riverfield Academy beat the Warriors by a score of 18-0 on Thursday.
