Softball Recap: Pflugerville Comes Up Short

Pflugerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Weiss Wolves, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Braelynn Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Pflugerville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17-1. As for Weiss, they pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Pflugerville will welcome Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Weiss, they will head out to challenge Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
