William Campbell waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Gretna Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Generals have posted since April 19, 2024.

Cadence Powell was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Another player making a difference was Isabel Puckette, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

William Campbell pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Gretna, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-10.
