Volleyball Recap: Grafton Gators vs. Shrewsbury Colonials
Grafton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Shrewsbury Colonials, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colonials this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-18.
Leading Shrewsbury to victory were Gracie Hester and Erin Boulay. Hester had 18 assists and six digs, while Boulay had six digs and four aces. Boulay is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Shrewsbury, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Coming up, Grafton will be playing at home against Tantasqua Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shrewsbury, they will head out to take on Algonquin Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
