Softball Recap: Logansport Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Logansport won against Twin Lakes last Saturday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Berries put the hurt on the Tipton Blue Devils with a sharp 12-2 win. The Berries might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kellyn Cripe, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Bella Nicoles was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four RBI.

Logansport was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tipton only posted a batting average of .000.

Logansport pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 8.2 runs thus far. As for Tipton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Logansport will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
