Basketball Recap: Verndale Takes a Loss

Verndale and Walker-Hackensack-Akeley squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Verndale had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves 76-29. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Verndale's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

As of now, neither Verndale nor Walker-Hackensack-Akeley have any future games scheduled.
