Basketball Recap: Aurora Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Aurora Christian Academy played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 51-20 loss at the hands of the Lighthouse Christian Chargers. The contest marked the Arrows' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Aleah Heredia was Aurora Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points.

This is the second loss in a row for Aurora Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Lighthouse Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Aurora Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 40-22 victory against Riverview Bible Baptist Christian on the 30th. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mid-Missouri HomeSchool at 11:30 a.m. on February 15th.
