Flint Hill has gone a perfect 6-0 against Sidwell Friends recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Quakers at 4:30 p.m. Flint Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Flint Hill's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over St. Andrew's Episcopal. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their two-run performance the game before.

Cate Stanley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Flint Hill got a massive performance out of Jane Stanley, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Stanley has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaina Gilbert, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.

Flint Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Sidwell Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Paul VI, falling 23-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Quakers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Flint Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sidwell Friends, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Flint Hill took their win against Sidwell Friends in their previous meeting back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 16-1 score. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Quakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
