Sherman Oaks CES had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Canoga Park Hunters. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 back in March.

Sebastian Hamilton was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Colin Hauser, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI.

Sherman Oaks CES was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Sherman Oaks CES pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Canoga Park, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sherman Oaks CES will square off against rival Reseda at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 2.2, the Regents 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Canoga Park is set to challenge their familiar foe East Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
