Baseball Recap: Mize Comes Up Short

Mize lost to Columbia Academy back in March of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mize saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Walker Sullivan, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Mize now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Columbia Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Mize didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Northeast Jones on the 17th. As for Columbia Academy, they will challenge Oak Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
