Baseball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Willamette Wolverines. The contest marked the Irish's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Willamette, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

When Sheldon and Willamette next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Irish will try to stop South Medford's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Willamette will take on Jesuit and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
