Basketball Recap: Clark/Willow Lake Falls Short Against Ranked Roncalli

On Thursday, Clark/Willow Lake faced Roncalli in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roncalli Cavaliers. The Cyclones have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Clark/Willow Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Roncalli, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clark/Willow Lake will venture away from home to challenge Redfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Roncalli, they will challenge Groton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
