Baseball Game Preview: Elkmont Red Devils vs. Collinsville Panthers

Elkmont is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Clements with a sharp 17-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Collinsville took on Colbert Heights on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Wildcats.

Mason McAteer was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Gavin Lang was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Jeremiah Killian was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
