Marquette waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Sault Area Blue Devils, posting a 105-32 victory. Given the Redmen's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Blue Devils are ranked 566th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marquette's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Sault Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Marquette will square off against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marquette knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Westwood likes a good challenge. Sault Area has already played their next game (against Cadillac), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
