Volleyball Recap: Burgin Comes Up Short

Burgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Model Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Burgin's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Model, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Burgin and Model will both be playing Jackson County the next time they take the court. The Patriots will host the Generals at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
