Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King lost against Ray back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The King Mustangs took a blow against the Ray Texans, falling 94-61. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 852nd, while the Texans are ranked 285th).

King's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Ray, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

King and Seguin will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ray, they will take on Flour Bluff at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Flour Bluff will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ray surely won't give up without a fight.
