Football Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Holy Cross Indians.

It was another big night for Charles Oglesby, who rushed for 117 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries for Holy Cross. Brian Ferguson was another key player, throwing for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Holy Cross, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Frankfort will face off against Eminence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Holy Cross, they will challenge Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
