Softball Recap: Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Has No Trouble Against Minnesota Valley Lutheran

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Buccaneers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The victory got Waterville-Elysian-Morristown back to even at 1-1. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will square off against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they are taking a road trip to take on Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
