Softball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Woodlawn's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Mountain Brook Spartans on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss two weeks ago.

Woodlawn has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Mountain Brook, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-31 record this season.

Woodlawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain Brook, they have already played their next match, a 22-5 loss against Gardendale on the 8th.
