Summit Christian Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-51 W against the Norwood Pirates.

Despite the loss, Norwood still got an impressive performance from Carder Kelly, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. Kelly's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Laken Coatney, who posted six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Summit Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Norwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Summit Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-49 loss against Riverfield Country Day on the 13th. As for Norwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-42 win against Webster on the 13th.
