Baseball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brandon can now relate to. They came up short against the Jesuit Tigers on Tuesday, falling 18-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Brandon has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Jesuit, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

Brandon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jesuit, they will square off against Countryside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
