Castle View faced D'Evelyn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Sabercats came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Sabercats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Austin Keathley paced Castle View's offense, picking up ten kills. Keathley got some help from Rowan Shaughnessy and his 12 assists. Shaughnessy was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Castle View's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for D'Evelyn, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 15-2 record.

Castle View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Niwot on the 19th. As for D'Evelyn, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Douglas County on the 19th.
