Volleyball Recap: North Mac Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Mac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carlinville Cavaliers. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

North Mac was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Carlinville work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 26-24.

North Mac's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Carlinville, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Mac will square off against rival Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Carlinville is set to challenge their familiar foe Litchfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
