Baseball Game Recap: Seton Hall Prep Pirates vs. DePaul Catholic Spartans

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seton Hall Prep can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-10 to the DePaul Catholic Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. That makes it the first time this season the Pirates have let down their home crowd.

Kaden Frei made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his six plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Michael Bravette was another key player, going 3-for-6 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Seton Hall Prep and nudges their season record down to 23-3. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only two runs. As for DePaul Catholic, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
