Baseball Recap: Canyon View Wins Going Away Against Ogden

With a playoff win on the line, Canyon View rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Ogden Tigers with a sharp 19-9 victory. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brady Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Anderson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Trenton Ludlow was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Price Atwood was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Canyon View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ogden only posted a batting average of .320.

Canyon View's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Ogden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Canyon View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
