Berkeley had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Encinal Jets by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Jets on March 3rd, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Satchel Room paced Berkeley's offense, picking up ten kills. Room got some help from Sebastian Chen-McDermott and his 14 assists. Chen-McDermott also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Davi Nascimento-Hill, racking up three apiece.

Berkeley's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Encinal, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Berkeley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mission San Jose on the 29th. As for Encinal, they will take on Piedmont at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Encinal is facing Piedmont at the right time seeing as Piedmont is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
