Softball Recap: West Genesee Comes Up Short

Liverpool hit West Genesee with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats lost 9-3 to the Warriors. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Alanna Bowman was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

West Genesee now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Liverpool, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.
