Volleyball Recap: Shiocton Takes a Loss

Shiocton was the 2-1 winner over Menasha when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Brooke Beschta paced Shiocton's offense, picking up six kills. Beschta got some help from Aliyah Reese and her ten assists. Sophie Wagner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Shiocton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Menasha, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Shiocton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against New London on the 28th. Menasha has also already played their next matchup (against Southern Door), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
