Volleyball Recap: Vail Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Vail Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Caprock Academy Eagles 3-0. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-11.

Sam Bates had an outrageously good game as she had nine digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (six).

Bates wasn't the only good server: Vail Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Vail Christian's record is now 3-0. As for Caprock Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Vail Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against DSST: College View on the 6th. As for Caprock Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Rangely on the 5th.
