The Carroll Chargers will head out on the road to square off against the Noblesville Millers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Carroll is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Carroll was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger on Thursday. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Saints. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Eric Tratnyek was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Eli Ledger also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Carroll always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Noblesville came up short against Avon on Friday and fell 6-3.

The victory got Carroll back to even at 2-2. As for Noblesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
