Volleyball Recap: Boulder Comes Up Short

Boulder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Niwot Cougars. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boulder was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Sienna Knight, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Niwot, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Boulder didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Platte Canyon on the 29th. As for Niwot, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Greeley West on the 29th.
