Westhill dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Marcellus Mustangs, falling 42-19. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2021.

As for Marcellus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Christopher Doshna was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one score. Doshna is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westhill will square off against rival Cazenovia at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Marcellus is set to face off against their familiar foe Skaneateles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
