Volleyball Recap: Hudson Triumphs

If Roosevelt wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hudson, they should've done a better job of containing Sam Disney. The Explorers blew past the Rough Riders 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Disney, who had 17 digs. Disney is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season.

While Hudson might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Roosevelt scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-22.

Hudson now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Hudson will be playing in front of their home fans against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Explorers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Roosevelt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Western Reserve Academy on the 3rd.
