Volleyball Recap: Liberty Starts Season with Win at Home

Liberty gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Temecula Prep Patriots 3-0. This was payback for the Bison, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Liberty walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-22, 26-24.

Taylor Dallin paced Liberty's offense, picking up six kills. Dallin got some help from Cadence Drumm and her 12 assists. Finally, Madison Rosal kept Liberty's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Liberty will take on West Valley at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Temecula Prep, they will face off against Cornerstone Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
