Baseball Recap: Emerald Ridge Makes It Four in a Row at Home

While Emerald Ridge put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Bethel. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 9-0 victory. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Emerald Ridge pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Bethel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emerald Ridge will square off against Lake Stevens at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Jaguars 3.8, the Vikings 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bethel, they will face off against Spanaway Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
