Baseball Recap: Leesville Takes a Loss

Leesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Westlake Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on March 7th.

Leesville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Belton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Westlake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leesville will head out to challenge St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westlake, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Louis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
