Basketball Recap: Sun Prairie West Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Sun Prairie West Wolves ended up a good deal behind the Kettle Moraine Lasers and lost 72-57. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Lasers are ranked fourth).

Sun Prairie West's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Kettle Moraine, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sun Prairie West will host Madison West at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Madison West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Kettle Moraine, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Waukesha North at 7:00 p.m.
