Peabody came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let the Ripley Tigers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tide, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Peabody's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Ripley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Coming up, Peabody will head out on the road to face off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Golden Tide's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. Ripley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
