Baseball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Valley Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Marysville Bulldogs.

Valley Heights saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mack Shanks, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Marysville, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

While Valley Heights had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
